Thrillers that helped us make our opening sequence

What lies beneath
In this supernatural thriller, Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer play a seemingly happily married couple who uncover a terrible secret . . . a secret so disturbing it threatens to destroy them. When Claire Spencer begins seeing ghostly images and hearing mysterious voices in their home, her husband Norman suspects it's just her imagination - until the images turn real. Now, together they must uncover the truth, confront their worst fears and find "what lies beneath" . . . with twisting and terrifying results.

Eddie Bunker made a deal with the D.A. office and will identify and testify against a dirty detective. While driving to the tribunal, Jack is attacked by a group of corrupt cops and protects Eddie.

Jaws
This thriller is full of suspense and this helped us by showing us how to add suspense to our opening film sequence. This film was filmed in 1975 and was a smash hit at the box office. The film is narrative based and was filmed on a beach in America. I think this film has helped us to add suspense and to make our opening sequence character based.

Memento
This thriller is an action thriller and is also full of suspense; I think that from watching this we learnt how to add suspense through action and how to add a good plot to our opening sequence.

Se7en
This thriller is a horror film and it contains a lot of suspense which is shown through the music and the fast cuts of the film. I think that this helped us with the editing of our film because it allowed us to create fast cuts and suspense through them.
